February 1, 2005 - Re-evaluation of Oral Slots
The presenter of any presentation in an oral slot needs to have registered
and paid his/her registration fee by FEBRUARY 1. At that time, we will re-evaluate the agenda.
Any presentation for which the presenter has not registered/paid will be considered for transfer into the
Poster Session to make a slot available for a presentation on the waiting list for oral presentations.
By March 11, 2005:
(Your registration form and fee should have been received at OISTL by February 1.)
By March 28, 2005:
Your PowerPoint presentation (if you plan to use one) must be received here at the CAER so that
we can load them on the laptop that will be in the room where your presentation is made.
It must be received at the CAER by March 28, so if you are mailing it on a CD, please plan
accordingly. You may also send it by email. If you send it by email, we suggest that you zip it unless the
file is small. Send it to:
Gretchen Tremoulet, University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research, 2450 Research Park Drive,
Lexington, KY 40511-8410, USA
Email: gtremoulet@caer.uky.edu
The oral presentations will be in Ballrooms 1, 2, and 3 and in Meeting Room A/B in the Lexington Center's Heritage Hall.
Each presentation: 25 minute talk + 5 minutes for questions/answers. It is critical that talks stay on schedule so that attendees may go between sessions at will.
Detailed instructions will be found in the Speaker Presentation Sheet.
A/V Equipment Provided in Each Session/Meeting Room:
A 35mm slide projector w/remote control (and 1 slide tray) will be made available to presenters ONLY by prior arrangement with conference staff. Other AV equipment will be available upon request at speaker's expense. Requests must be made in advance.
If you choose to use a personal laptop and data projector for your presentation, we strongly suggest that you bring an alternative format (i.e., slides, transparencies, CD and/or USB flash drive) to avoid delays should your laptop experience incompatibilities with the data projector.
