The World of Coal Ash incorporates the following into one premier conference:
2005 International Ash Utilization Symposium of the UK CAER and the
ACAA's 16th International Symposium
as well as meetings/workshops of
the U. S. Office of Surface Mining,
the U. S. Dept. of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory
and other organizations.

To apply for a presentation, you must include:
1. Identifying Information
and
2. An Abstract
PLEASE include ALL of the Identifying Information items.
DO NOT OMIT the items concerning recruitment, Fuel, and type of presentation.
DO NOT OMIT the address/phone/fax/email for each of the Additional Authors.

1. Identifying Information (may be email message, word processor or paper):

• Title of Presentation
• Primary Author's name/organization/address/phone/fax/email
• Corresponding Author's name/organization/address/phone/fax/email
• Presenting Author's name/organization/address/phone/fax/email (we suggest that the corresponding author and the presenting author be the same person, since we will send information about the presentation to the corresponding author)
• Each Additional Author's name/organization/address/phone/fax/email
• Type of Presentation preferred (oral or poster)
• Fuel Manuscript (yes or no) - Whether or not you would like to submit a manuscript for the journal Fuel. This manuscript would be in addition to and different from the manuscript for the Proceedings Volume.
• Recruited Presentations (yes or no): If yes, please tell us who recruited it and the name of the session for which they intend it. Explanation: Members of WOCA's Technical Program Committee are recruiting presentations, usually for the session they are moderating. When we receive an abstract, we need that informaiton so that we can put it in the session for which it is intended

Formatting instructions -

• 8.5" x 11" for page size
• WordPerfect: File / Page Setup / Size / Letter 8.5" x 11"
• Word: File / Page Setup / Paper Size / Letter 8 ½ x 11 in
• Margins - all margins on all pages 1 inch
• Font - Helvetica or Arial preferred
• No page number, header, or footer
• Title - 20 point bold
• Authors - 14 point bold; list primary author first, followed by other authors; use superscript numbers to identify organization/address
• Organizations - 12 point; use appropriate superscript number followed by name/address of organization
• Keywords - 12 point
• Abstract - 12 point; 250 words maximum
• In a separate paragraph below the abstract, please place the following text: Submitted for consideration in the 2005 World of Coal Ash, April 11-15, 2005, Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

If accepted, this abstract will be published on the conference web page and in the abstract booklet to be given to each attendee at the beginning of the conference.
