ASH DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA (ADAA)

Australian producers and marketers of Power Station ash formed the ADAA (Ash Development Association of Australia Inc.) in 1991. The primary objectives are to conduct research and technology transfer on behalf of members and to assist in developing market opportunities in the use of ash materials for all stakeholders.

Some of these objectives include the increasing potential users awareness of the beneficial properties and value of ash through:

• technical assistance to ash producers, marketers and consumers
• stimulation of research and development into ash usage
• providing a forum for the exchange and publication of ash information
