UNITED KINGDOM QUALITY ASH ASSOCIATION

The UKQAA is a trade association representing the UK coal fired power generators. The main aims of the association are:

• Promoting coal ash to the benefit of the environment
• Encouraging its use as a valued resource
• Expanding utilisation through representation on European and British standard committees
• Research Sponsorship - project examples: durability of concrete, the environment etc.
• Providing information, training and reassurance to all on the advantages of using coal ash along with the potential environmental benefits
• The UKQAA has a regularly updated fully comprehensive website
