Ash Library Submission Guidelines

World of Coal Ash Conference 2007

Permission is required to have your WOCA Proceedings Volume paper placed also on the Ash Library, a virtual library maintained by the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research.

The Ash Library is a virtual library of papers concerning all aspects of coal combustion materials. It was envisioned from the outset as a library of papers from many different sources. Papers are from previous International Ash Utilization Symposia Series (1999-2003) and from the World of Coal Ash (WOCA) 2005 Conference. We plan to add papers from the technical presentations (oral and poster) from the 2007 World of Coal Ash Conference.

The papers located in the Ash Library (those with permission granted) are the same that are in the Proceedings Volumes from the various meetings.
Permission is required from the author before the paper can be added to the Ash Library.
Authors retain copyright to the papers. Their appearance in the Ash Library constitutes a single use license.
Papers in the Ash Library are in Acrobat .pdf format with security. Altering or copying from the papers is prevented by that security. Papers can be printed, downloaded, and/or cited. If downloaded, the security restrictions go with the download, as they are a part of the file. (Please note that, while the technology is quite reliable, there is no security that can not be disengaged by a person with enough programming knowledge.)

After your presentation has been accepted in WOCA and your paper is completed, you may grant permission for your paper to be added to the Ash Library. To do so, please complete the Ash Library Permission form and return it to:
