Presenters - How to Submit to the CCGP Journal

CCGP Manuscript Information

The new journal Coal Combustion and Gasification Products will publish selected manuscripts from WOCA.   Authors should submit "peer-review ready" manuscripts to the journal for consideration.

CCGP is an international academic refereed journal jointly published by UK CAER and ACAA in the United States. Full papers will be published through the online CCGP journal. Additionally a printed CCGP insert, featuring abstracts, will circulate in ACAA's Ash at Work.

The decision to establish the journal is based upon the success of the UK CAER-ACAA jointly-organized World of Coal Ash Conference and the problems inherent with not having a dedicated refereed journal specifically for coal ash research. With current research dispersed across multiple journals, one of our primary goals is to build a resource for the niche audience interested in coal combustion and gasification products research.

The WOCA manuscript submitted for inclusion in CCGP MUST be different from and in addition to the manuscript submitted for the WOCA Proceedings Volume.

Manuscripts must follow the format prescribed by CCGP. They also must undergo a peer review process to evaluate their appropriateness for inclusion in the CCGP Journal.

Review Process

CCGP Manuscripts must be submitted ONLY via the CCGP Journal web site's on-line submission portal. This is a different process from previous conferences. Papers from the WOCA Conference will no longer be published, as a conference submission, in the Journal of FUEL.

Manuscripts are to be submitted via the Allen Press submission site available through CCGP's website. It provides all the information and services needed to submit your paper and to track its progress through to the published article.

NOTE: Payment of registration fee and presentation of paper at WOCA do not guarantee acceptance of manuscripts. All papers will be subject to the review process and will be accepted only after timely and thorough revision by the author(s)following the suggestions made via the peer review and/or by the CCGP publishing staff.
